This committee develops and implements a plan for recruiting and retaining club members. It’s responsibilities include:
• Help
develop club membership goals for the next three years and a plan to achieve
them
• Conduct
club assessments to determine strengths and weaknesses of the club and to ensure
membership development efforts are effective.
• Work with
the public relations committee to create a positive club image that is
attractive to prospective and current members alike.
• Educate and
train club members about the importance of recruitment and retention of
qualified, diverse members and the process for recommending new members
• Develop
programs to educate and train new and current club members about Rotary and
include local and international Rotary information in weekly club meetings
• Recognizing
existing members for their contributions to club projects and activities
Specifics:
Club membership goal for 2010-2011: net increase of at least one new member
Evaluate the Rotary Community Corps program – is this something our club could use?

This committee conducts all of the club’s administrative activities including but not limited to:
• Develop
committee goals to achieve club’s annual goals.
• Organize
weekly and special programs.
• Produce the
club bulletin and maintain the club Web site.
• Help the
club secretary track club attendance.
• Promote fellowship among club members.
• Conduct any other activities associated with the effective operation of the club.

Roger said he would continue to produce
the club bulletin. If we want anything
special, we need to give him the info.
Specifics:
Determine how we handle programs – do we assign to every member or do we have a
program committee.
Develop a calendar with program dates and assignments.
Develop a method to remind those responsible on a regular basis of their
assignments.
Promote fellowship by having a quarterly activity for Rotarians and
souses/significant others /family.
In the past this might have been the Halloween party, Valentine’s Day event,
etc.
Determine a program/activities to celebrate the club’s 75th
anniversary.
Be responsible for officer induction night in June, 2011.
Appoint a nominations committee to have a slate of officers for next year by
December, 2010.

This committee develops and carries out plans to support The Rotary Foundation through financial contributions and club participation in Foundation programs. This includes:
• Develop
committee goals to achieve club Foundation goals for the coming year.

train club members about the Foundation.
• Encourage
and facilitate participation in Foundation programs.
• Ensure that
your club and its members contribute to The Rotary Foundation
Specifics:
Find a program for the District Simplified Grant – work on a three year basis
for this
Establish club goal for the foundation in 2011
Include foundation information in the weekly club letter at least once a quarter

This committee plans and carries out educational, humanitarian, and vocational
projects that address the needs of the club’s community and communities
in other countries.

• Conduct
service projects that include assessments, planning, and evaluation.
• Create a
balanced program of service.
• Work with
other organizations, volunteers, and committee members to maximize the impact of
your projects.
• Lead
fundraising efforts to fund projects.

liability issues that affect your club projects and activities

information about Rotary and promote the club’s service projects and activities. This includes:

committee goals to achieve the club’s public relations goals for the coming
year.

Rotary and your Rotary club in your community.
• Work with
Rotarians in your club to maximize public relations efforts.
• Understand
the components of public relations that will help you promote Rotary to the
community.
• Know
Rotary’s key messages and be able to use them when speaking in public
Specifics:
This
committee should be responsible for the Mayor’s Banquet.
In addition it is responsible for publicity at our other Rotary events –
meetings, social functions and service projects.
